the jivamukti retreat —
turning inward

WEDNESDAY NOVEMBER 18 —— SUNDAY NOVEMBER 22, 2026
MARRAKECH

WHERE THE NOISE STOPS. WHERE YOU BEGIN.

November in Marrakech is a different kind of light — softer, lower, closer to the ground. The heat has lifted. The city breathes again. And somewhere in the palm groves outside the walls, a villa opens its doors.

The Jivamukti Retreat is built for that moment: four days of practice, silence, and the kind of attention that turns inward instead of outward.

Two daily Jivamukti classes. Morning meditation. Pranayama, philosophy, and asana labs to go further. A restore & renew practice under an open desert sky. Massages, long lunches, and evenings that end by candlelight.

No agenda but the one your body sets.
No rules but the ones the practice teaches.

This is not a holiday. This is a return.

JIVAMUKTI — TURNING THE GAZE INWARD

Jivamukti is a practice that refuses to separate the mat from the world.

Rooted in classical yoga teachings, woven with chanting, breath, flowing vinyasa, hands-on assists, and meditation — it asks you to move fully, think deeply, and stay awake to everything.

For four days, we turn the attention inward. Not away from life — into it. Each morning begins with stillness before movement. Each afternoon opens a new doorway: breath, philosophy, the deep work of asana explored slowly. And each night, we gather. To eat, to share, to let the day settle.

Guided by Amanda and Valeryia, this is your invitation to go quiet enough to hear what's underneath.

THE VENUE
villa taj marrakech

A house that feels less like a hotel and more like somewhere you're meant to stay a while.

Villa Taj is a place of gardens and terraces, warm walls and quiet corners, day beds floating over water and long tables set under the trees. Luxury without the stiffness. Space without the noise. Everything designed for slowing down.

Every room a refuge.
Every corner an invitation to stop.

THE NOURISHMENT
Everything vegetarian

Mornings begin simply — dates, nuts, tea. Brunches are long and generous: shakshuka, halloumi, quinoa and kale salads, houmous and baba ganoush, chia pudding and granola, sourdough and seeded crackers, avocado, roasted sweet potato, fresh-pressed juices, and everything in between.

Seated dinners are Moroccan at heart — vegetable tagines, individual pastillas, quinoa tabbouleh, tomato and goat cheese mille-feuille — closed with chocolate mousse, lemon pie, or fresh fruit under the trees.

Food that feels like care. The kind that makes your cells vibrate.
